School's out for the summer, and teens Claude and Ellen want to form a Riot Grrl band. However, Ellen's new relationship with Mark is causing a rift between the two, as Claude is secretly in love with Ellen. When Luke, a new tenant in her apartment block is murdered, Claude realises that her best friend and her boyfriend are involved, and struggles to deal with her growing sense of distance between the two of them.
Another 1997 film based around the Riot Grrrl scene, like Slaves to the Underground, All Over Me is the far superior of the two. The Sichel sisters
